Raster Image

Raster graphics are images composed of fixed colored pixels, such as a photo or a scanned drawing.  Raster graphics are best for laser engraving.  Most paint type programs (Paint, PhotoShop, Gimp, and PhotoPaint for example) use raster graphics.
